MISO P&C has been actively engaging with various law firms and intellectual property specialists regarding our internally developed technology for aqueous dispersion and coating of aerogels. MISO P&C has filed nine patents based on our proprietary innovations to safeguard our pioneering world-first aqueous dispersion and mixing technology.

In addition, we have applied for a patent for the application of aerogel coatings on fabrics, expanding beyond paints. This aerogel fabric coating technology is expected to be a significant part of MISO P&C's aerogel coating applications and represents a promising area for substantial future growth.

As the CEO at MISO P&C, assumes a pivotal role in orchestrating the global strategy, encompassing brand development, marketing initiatives, sales, and operational oversight, with a particular focus on the Aerogel Water Paint product line. With 10 years of private equity background, he made a career transition into the realm of retail through the globally renowned Richmont Group. Subsequently, he became an exclusive distributor of Canada Goose in the Korean market and expanded his partnership to notable brands such as Toms, Vibram and Brooks Running in Korea. After successful distributor for 5 years, Peter became the head of Vans Korea(VF), further solidifying his stature as a dynamic and professional force in the brand industry.

Youngrok Park

He is a founder of MISO P&C and the world's first chemist who succeeded in developing technology for manufacturing aerogel water-based paint. He completed his master's degree in chemical engineering at Hanyang University and began his career in production and sales at Samsung Petrochemical. Afterward, he also built his career as a programmer and production IT system project manager. In 2014, he became fascinated with the potential of aerogel and started researching it. After five years of independent research and development, he successfully dispersed aerogel completely and combined it with various resins to upgrade products. Presently, Mr. Park remains deeply committed to advancing the multifaceted applications of aerogel and actively spearheading the development of new materials, thus propelling the boundaries of scientific innovation.

Coral reefs, often referred to as the "lungs of the sea," are in imminent peril due to the escalating impacts of global warming. Should ocean water temperatures rise by a mere 1.5 degrees Celsius, an alarming 70 to 90 percent of coral reefs face the dire prospect of extinction. Furthermore, an increase of 2 degrees Celsius would result in a staggering 99 percent of coral reefs being lost. MISO P&C is dedicated to the safeguarding of these vital marine ecosystems, which play an integral role in preserving the balance of the world's oceans.
